Anthropology of tourism

Specializing in the study of cultural and spatial change processes in the contemporary world, I am interested in touristic travel, the governance of tourism resources in destinations and the circulation of touristic models such as landscape or wine terroir. Before joining the University of Lausanne in 2015, I worked at Sheffield Hallam University, Leeds Metropolitan University and the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. I have also been associated with the Institute of Research for Development (Madagascar), the Universities of California at Berkeley (USA), Queensland (Australia), from Lisboa (Portugal) and Paris Panthéon Sorbonne (France) .
