Extension of Mayumba National Park (Gabon) in the context of the Biodiversity Convention 2030 targets
In the contexte of Gabon's committment to increase it's protected areas to 30% of the country by 2030, this thesis explores the proposed park extension of the Mayumba National Park in Gabon. It focuses on the perceptions and impact on local communities, and analyses the Free Prior Informed Consent process engaged by the government.
