Christophe Lambiel is lecturer at the Institute of geography and sustainability of the University of Lausanne since 2006. He is member of the scientific committee of Swiss permafrost monitoring network PERMOS and member of the committee of the Swiss Snow, Ice and Permafrost society (SIP).

Research fields: process geomorphology in mountain areas, alpine permafrost.

Teaching: physical geography, geomorphology, alpine periglacial environment.
