Clotilde Trivin is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Geography and Sustainability at the University of Lausanne. She works under the supervision of Prof.Dr. Martin Müller and is part of the FNS project "Cultural flagships: pathways, practices, and politics of a global urban type" and the research team M3 (Materialities | Multiplicities | Metropolis).
Clotilde has received a Master in Geopolitics at the French Institute of Geopolitics with a focus political geography in the Post-soviet space. She is currently developing her PhD project around the comparison of the Second World War Museum and the Solidarność Museum in Gdańsk, Poland. She is interested in global urbanism, architectural geography, affective atmospheres and more-than-human urban politics. She participates in decentring approaches to find a way to research city-making in the Global Easts.
