Clotilde Trivin

Clotilde Trivin is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Geography and Sustainability at the University of Lausanne. She works under the supervision of Prof.Dr. Martin Müller and is part of the FNS project "Cultural flagships: pathways, practices, and politics of a global urban type" and the research team M3 (Materialities | Multiplicities | Metropolis).

Clotilde has received a Master in Geopolitics at the French Institute of Geopolitics with a focus on the Post-soviet space. She is currently developing her PhD project around the case study of the Yeltsin Cultural Center in Yekaterinburg, Russia. She is interested in global urbanism, cultural flagships, the geographical implications of spectacle and decentralizing approaches to find a way to research city-making in the Global East.
