Diana Neacsu

Over the past 16 years, I have worked at the intersection of communication, public policy, and management consulting. I joined Prof. Gretchen Walter's team to help promote the 2024 European Commons Conference and to support PhD students and conference participants with insights on how to communicate science to lay people and to policy makers (at national and EU levels).

I have held roles across all areas of communication—both external and internal—in the academic, non-profit, and corporate sectors. As part of that I have translated technical knowledge into accessible language, coordinated and produced content for all media channels (websites, social media, press conferences), led creative teams, advised management on media relations, and coached (and have been coached by) colleagues from various cultures.

I have a deep interest in coaching, natural resource management, and social justice, and I volunteer with a nonprofit organization tackling these issues.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time in nature, reading, and traveling.
