Géraldine Overney

I am currently working as a PhD student and assistant with Prof. Christophe Clivaz on a thesis on the role of second home owners in the governance of mountain resorts.

I hold a Master's degree in journalism and communication, media and digital communication orientation, from the University of Geneva. My Master's thesis, which I defended in 2021, is entitled "Instagram and the use of user-generated content in the promotion of tourism in Switzerland: users' perceptions and motivations".
