The World Bank undertook a project on Regional Integration in the Atlantic Region of the DRC. The aim of the project is to assess (a) the potential for increased trade in the region (b) the main constraints that are preventing that potential from being realized and (c) to develop policy recommendations on how to address these constraints. The outcome of the project will be a policy note that will summarize the findings and policy proposals and will serve as a basis for further discussing the issue of regional integration in the West with the government.
