Working group on Geomorphosites, International Association of Geomorphosites

From 2001 to 2013 Emmanuel Reynard is the chairman of the working group with Paola Coratza (University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy). The working group aims at developing research on assessment and mapping of geomorphosites, as well as promoting geomorphology in geoconservation, geotourism and landscape management areas.

Swiss Working Group on Geotopes

Emmanuel Reynard is the chairman of the Swiss Working Group on Geotopes, one of the workking groups of the Platform Geosciences of the Swiss Academy of Sciences (SCNAT). The working group deals with all issues related to geosites and geoparks in Switzerland. In 2012 was issued the Inventory of Swiss geosites.

Association "Mémoires du Rhône"

The Association "Mémoires du Rhône" aims as developing interdisciplinary research on the Rhône River. Since 2004, the association has organised 10 workshops and pbulished a book on the Rhône River in 2009. A new book is planned for 2015. Emmanuel Reynard is the president of the association since 2011.
